The super Tapper was developed as a cheaper and smaller alternative to a CNC machine. Designed around a drill press frame, a microcontroller coordinates the speed and direction of the spindle while monitoring the depth of the tapping head.

Lubricant is automatically dispensed at the beginning of each operation. The depth of thread and volume of lubricant is determined by dials on the control box.

The Super Tapper achieves fast, semi-automated tapping down to 1.5 seconds per hole.
